MEERUT, Jan. 21 -- A 40-year-old revenue official, his wife, mother and two minor sons were found dead with gunshot wounds on Tuesday in a suspected of murder-suicide in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, police said. The deceased have been identified as a 40-year-old amin (land surveyor) with the district administration, his wife (37), mother (70), and their two sons aged 16 and 13. The bodies were discovered in the same room, and three loaded pistols were recovered next to the official's body, an officer aware of the development said.
