New Delhi, April 18 -- The Jawaharlal Nehru University's (JNU's) executive council on Wednesday, dismissed four staff members in two separate cases of sexual harassment and corruption, a university official said on Thursday.

The dismissed staff includes one teacher who faced charges of sexual harassment and another teacher and two non-teaching staff in connection with a corruption case that is being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the official said.

JNU vice-chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit said, "These decisions reflect zero tolerance policy of this administration in JNU against cases of corruption and sexual offences." P4
