New Delhi, March 16 -- A group of men assaulted a 35-year-old man and his friend in Chhawla, Dwarka on Thursday after one of the victims threw a water balloon at one of them, police said.
Raju Kumar, 35, a resident of Goyla Dairy, had come to Chhawla to meet his friend Rajesh Kumar on Holi. While playing, Raju threw a water balloon at a passing boy. An argument ensued during which Raju slapped the boy, police said.
The boy brought a few of his friends to the spot, stopped Raju's car, pulled him and his friend out of the vehicle and assaulted them with sticks, bricks and rods, police said. The accused also vandalised the car.
