New Delhi, March 21 -- The ministry of Jal Shakti, in a written response to a question raised by MP Kalyan Banerjee in Lok Sabha, on Thursday said 33 projects worth Rs.5,911 crore have been launched for cleaning Yamuna under the Namami Gange Programme.
Of the 33, nine projects are in Delhi, of which eight are ready and the 9th project, construction of 564MLD wastewater treatment plant is progressing. The completed projects include Coronation Pillar STP, rehabilitation of trunk sewer lines and upgrade of old STPs, the reply stated.HTC
