India, March 14 -- A fire broke out on the morning of March 14 at the Atlantis building, a high-end residential scheme, on the 150 Feet Ring Road in Rajkot, leaving three people dead and one injured.

DCP Rajkot City Jagdish Bangarwa said, "Three persons have died, and one is injured and being treated in a hospital. Everyone else was safely evacuated."

He said that the fire was brought under control.

The blaze, which ignited on the sixth floor around 10 a.m., rapidly spread to the fifth floor, plunging residents into panic, according to the police. Emergency services, including the police, fire department, and ambulances, rushed to the scene and initiated a swift rescue operation.
