AGARTALA, Oct. 16 -- Three suspected Bangladeshi cattle smugglers were left dead after they engaged in clashes with Indian villagers in an area close to the India-Bangladesh international border in Tripura's Khowai district on Wednesday, police officers aware of the details said, adding that a team of police from Champahoar police station rushed to the spot and found the bodies. According to police, a preliminary probe revealed that the three dead people were Bangladeshi cattle-smugglers. They allegedly intruded India and were spotted by some villagers while they were trying to escape with some cattle.
