New Delhi, April 8 -- A several-kilometre-long stretch of the Outer Ring Road, a vital corridor for daily commuters in south Delhi, was choked with traffic for over an hour on Monday morning following a three-vehicle collision near Safdarjung Enclave. The crash occurred around 9.30am and had a cascading effect on the flow of vehicles, leaving thousands stranded during peak rush hour.

The key stretch - Outer Ring Road from Munirka, Hauz Khas, IIT Delhi, Panchsheel Park to Chirag Dilli - witnessed a heavy traffic jam on Monday morning as commuters were stuck for almost half an hour because of the accident.
