New Delhi, June 16 -- A 29-year-old store owner has been arrested for allegedly purchasing stolen mobile phones from snatchers and thieves, modifying their bodies and internal components to conceal the identification and tracking, and selling them as refurbished phones, senior police officers aware of the matter said on Sunday. At least 281 stolen mobile phones were recovered after the anti-burglary and snatching team of the northwest district police raided the mobile repair shop in north Delhi's Jahangirpuri. The arrested man has been identified as Javed Ali Saha, a resident of Jahangirpuri, police said, adding that the raid was conducted on the night of June 10.
