New Delhi, Oct. 3 -- A 28-year-old man died and another was injured after their motorcycle crashed into a central verge in Bhati Mines on Sunday night. Police said neither was wearing a helmet at the time.
The deceased, identified as Sagar Kumar, was riding pillion. His neighbour Vikas Kumar, 24, who was driving the motorcycle, sustained injuries. Both worked at local shops in the area. "The motorcycle rammed into the central verge. The driver lost balance," an officer said.
At AIIMS Trauma Centre, doctors declared Sagar dead on arrival. Vikas remains under treatment. Police have registered an FIR under sections 281 (rash driving) and 106 (causing death by negligence) of BNS.htc
