Ahmedabad, June 24 -- A total of 240 out of 241 people onboard the June 12 Air India plane that crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12, have been identified through DNA testing, a health official aware of the matter said on Monday, adding that the bodies of 256 victims have been handed over to their families so far. The identification of the body of one passenger remains pending, the official added. The crash took place when a London-bound Air India Dreamliner aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, killing 241 of the 242 onboard. htc
