New Delhi, March 20 -- The first tram tickets from the days when trams roared through Delhi and Kolkata will be showcased in a special exhibition at the 22nd Boimela (Book Fair) and Bharat Lokotsab, set to begin on March 20 at No. 5, Ashoka Road, organisers said Wednesday.
As part of the book fair, 'Kolkata Kathokatha,' an association of collectors and dignitaries, will display historical newspapers from August 15, 1947, along with letters from prominent personalities of the era. "There will be a special focus on the trams of Delhi and Kolkata, once the pride of these cities," said Prodip Ganguly, general secretary of the Bengal Association in Delhi.
