NEW DELHI, Feb. 10 -- A 22-year-old man was allegedly brutalised with an iron rod, beaten to death and thrown out of a bus by three people, including the bus driver, near Bawana flyover in northwest Delhi, police said on Sunday, adding that one person has been arrested. Police said the incident happened on the night of February 1. The man was a resident of Narela and worked as a cook at weddings and events.
A senior officer said the victim and his friend boarded the bus at Sultanpur Dabas after an event. During the journey the victim accidentally spilled some food he was carrying inside the bus, the officer said, asking not to be named.
