New Delhi, April 17 -- Two men have been arrested for allegedly duping employees of electricity generation companies by posing as power minister Pravesh Verma's officer on special duty (OSD), police said on Wednesday.
Police said that the case was registered based on a complaint by Verma's OSD, who said that someone was impersonating him and calling employees of power companies to ask them to install new meter connections at several places.
Police said that the employees informed the OSD about the same. During probe, with the help of technical surveillance, police identified and traced the accused. The two identified as Arvind Kumar and Mohammed Imtiyaz were arrested.
