New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- A week after Delhi Zoo celebrated the birth of six Bengal Tiger cubs - the largest litter in two decades - two have died during the initial "critical care" period, officials said. The first cub, the weakest of the litter, died inside the enclosure on Thursday. "It was fairly weak and not moving much," an official said. The second, suffering from a leg infection that developed pus, died at the zoo hospital on Sunday. Sanjeet Kumar, the Delhi zoo director said that of the six cubs, the first was extremely small and died on Friday. Another was fairly weak and was not able to feed on the mother's milk.
