India, Nov. 16 -- A stone mine collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra on Saturday leading to at least two deaths. Around a dozen people are feared trapped after the mine collapse and rescue operations are underway. The exact number of those trapped under the debris is not yet known.
The deaths have been confirmed as relief teams including state and national disaster relief force reached the spot.
The collapse happened in the Billi Markundi mining area under the Obra police station limits in Sonbhadra on Saturday.
