New Delhi, April 10 -- Amid efforts to prevent encroachment along the Yamuna floodplains, lieutenant governor VK Saxena on Tuesday suspended two Delhi Development Authority (DDA) officials for allowing re-encroachment near Mayur Vihar.
Saxena further directed that any instance of fresh encroachment of DDA land in future will lead to stringent action, including filing of criminal charges, besides suspension and departmental inquiry, officials said.
