Jaipur, April 1 -- An 18-year-old student preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to undergraduate engineering courses allegedly died by suicide in what was the 10th such incident in the coaching hub this year, police officers aware of the case said on Monday.
Kota GRP police station assistant sub-inspector Dharma Singh said that the student's body was found on a railway track near the Kota railway station on Sunday night. The victim, a resident of Kanpur district in Uttar Pradesh, had arrived in Kota two years ago to prepare for the exam and was staying at a hostel in the city's Rajeev Gandhi Nagar area.
