PRAYAGRAJ, June 6 -- : A total of 16 Lekhpals have been suspended in the district for negligence in the disposal of complaints registered through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS). Despite repeated notices from the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) urging the officials to improve their performance, the concerned Lekhpals failed to address the complaints in a timely manner, prompting disciplinary action.

Chief revenue officer (CRO), Kunwar Pankaj confirmed that suspension orders had been issued against all the erring Lekhpals.
