India, Sept. 8 -- Massive protests broke out in Nepal on Monday, after the government's decision to ban most social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube and X.
14 persons were killed as clashes erupted between the protestors and the police, Reuters reported citing local media, while 42 others sustained injuries.
Tens of thousands of protestors took to the streets in Kathmandu, surrounding the Parliament of the country after pushing through barbed wires, the Associated Press reported.
