100 pak drones seized along border in punjab
New Delhi, May 20 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized 100 Pakistani drones, used to smuggle weapons and narcotics, along the India-Pakistan border in Punjab this year, the force said on Monday.
The Chinese-made drones were shot down along the border after they sent from Pakistan by narco-terror groups. Along with the drones, the force also recovered 111kg of heroin, 60 weapons, 14 hand grenades and 10kg explosives, BSF said.
"This year, on 18th May 2025, BSF successfully crossed a significant landmark of recovering 100th Pakistani drone including 111 kgs of heroin, 60 weapons, 14 hand grenades and more than 10 Kgs of high explosives from entering into Indian territory," BSF said in a statement released on Monday.
