New Delhi, Nov. 29 -- Ten children, eight boys and two girls, were rescued from child labour by joint team of the Dwarka subdivisional magistrate, labour department, police and Prayas JAC Society. They were rescued from multiple locations, including a cloth factory, a transformer board factory, iron work, a utensil shop and an automobile shop. They were all sent to children's homes.
"Some of them have been rescued from the factories, others from non-hazardous places," Javed Anjum of Prayas JAC Society said.
A senior official said an FIR has been registered against the employers. Most were aged between 15 and 17 years. HTC
