India, Sept. 11 -- Charlie Kirk was shot on Wednesday at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem on Wednesday. A spokesperson confirmed reports of the shooting in a statement to Fox News. The report further added that Kirk has been hospitalized.

"Charlie Kirk has been shot at Utah Valley University. Condition unknown," the spokesperson told the outlet.

Videos from the scene showed Kirk addressing a crowd when a loud crack, sounding like a gunshot, rang out. The MAGA influencer was then seen briefly moving his hand to his neck as he fell off his chair, sending the attendees running.
