India, Oct. 30 -- Tray Yesavage delivered a record-breaking performance in Game 5 of the World Series, leading the Toronto Blue Jays to a 6-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. The 22-year-old right-hander struck out 12 batters without issuing a single walk, the first player in World Series history to achieve the feat, leaving his girlfriend, Taylor Frick, emotional.
Frick shared her pride on Instagram as he posted the feat and wrote, "Still crying." She added, "Best day ever!!!" The 23-year-old graduated from East Carolina University in May, where she met Yesavage. The pair went public with their relationship in December 2023, as reported by The New York Post.
