India, June 13 -- Oklahoma City Thunder fell to a 2-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals, dropping game 3 on the road to the Indiana Pacers. Although favourites heading into this series, the Pacers have played hard and energetic basketball, and have been good value for their lead.
A reason for OKC's struggles in game 3 was a quiet night for star man Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The NBA MVP was held to just 24 points on the night, well off an average of in excess of 30 through these playoffs.
