Moscow/Kyiv, Dec. 27 -- President Vladimir Putin told some of Russia's top businessmen that he might be open to swapping some territory controlled by Russian forces in Ukraine but that he wanted the whole of Donbas, the Kommersant newspaper reported.
The report comes ahead of a Sunday meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump in Florida on efforts to end Russia's invasion. The latest plan is a 20-point proposal that would freeze the front line but open the door for Ukraine to pull back troops from the east, where demilitarised buffer zones could be made, Zelensky had said.P17
