New Delhi, Nov. 21 -- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) informed the National Green Tribunal it has followed all rules while building the Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-2) over a village pond near southwest Delhi's Goyla Khurd. In an affidavit filed with the tribunal on November 14, NHAI said all necessary environmental clearances were sought and received from the environment ministry, and that the 1,119-metre bridge over the water body was part of the Environmental Impact Assessment.
