India, April 29 -- In his three-match old IPL career, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has already taken down international bowlers Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan. It was only possible because he was under no pressure whatsoever. Vaibhav knew they were international bowlers but he also knew if they pitched it in his arc, he would give it a whack. And boy did he give some against the Gujarat Titans on Monday to smash a 35-ball century, becoming the youngest and the fastest Indian to score a century in the IPL. At 14, he also became the youngest in men's T20s to smash a century.
