Jaipur, May 30 -- Rajathan governor Haribhau Bagade has challenged the popular historical account of a marriage between Mughal emperor Akbar and the princess of Amer, calling it untrue. He stated that there is no mention of such a union in Akbarnama, Akbar's official autobiography. According to Bagade, this widely accepted narrative is one of several historical inaccuracies introduced by foreign writers during the early documentation of India's history.
