Pune, Dec. 29 -- Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar on Sunday announced an alliance between the NCP and the NCP (SP) led by his uncle Sharad Pawar for the civic polls in Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad. "For the sake of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation elections, the 'clock' and the 'tutari' (trumpet) [the symbols of the two parties] have united. Our family has come together," he said.
