New Delhi, April 10 -- Union home minister Amit Shah on Wednesday assured citizens from the southern states of India that the proposed delimitation exercise will not "do injustice" to them and that their seats will remain as "per a pro rata basis".

"Has the government announced a delimitation commission or appointed a supreme (court) judge for delimitation? In Tamil Nadu, they are raising the (delimitation) issue to hide their (DMK-led government's) corruption," Shah said at News18's Rising Bharat Summit. "I assure people of south India that the BJP will not do injustice and their seats will remain as per a pro rata basis."
