New Delhi, Nov. 13 -- The Delhi high court on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking a free and fair investigation in the criminal cases registered against members of the Muslim community in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for displaying posters and banners reading "I Love Muhammad". A bench of chief justice DK Upadhyay and justice Tushar Rao Gedela noted that the first information reports (FIRs) had been registered in different states and said that it lacked jurisdiction to issue directions against officials operating beyond Delhi's territorial limits.
