India, Dec. 11 -- Yashasvi Jaiswal registered his maiden ODI century after getting his chance in the three-match series against South Africa. Jaiswal played a fine innings to register a ton in Vizag while chasing, putting together phenomenal partnerships with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in a comprehensive nine-wicket victory.

Jaiswal has formed a strong partnership with Rohit Sharma over the course of his career in the national team, playing much of his cricket under his senior Mumbai teammate's wing as an opener. Having formulated that relationship at the top of the order, Jaiswal was very much seen as the future of Indian cricket.
