'Greed, carelessness': Oppn targets BJP govt over death
New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- The Opposition on Friday accused the Delhi government of negligence and attempting to shield those responsible in connection with the death of a 25-year-old biker who fell into an unmarked pit on a Janakpuri road dug up by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called the incident a result of systemic failure and lack of accountability. In a post on X, Gandhi said the "pandemic of greed and carelessness" in the country has claimed "another young life," adding, "This is not an accident, it is murder, and the killer is a government that has escaped accountability."
