India, July 2 -- The Union government on Tuesday told the Karnataka high court that X (formerly Twitter) must join the Sahyog platform and comply with all takedown notices. However, X has argued that Sahyog opens the door for "indiscriminate censorship". Referring to a notice to take down a viral video of a woman driving on railway tracks, senior lawyer KG Raghavan said that under Sahyog, "every Tom, Dick, and Harry" could issue takedown notices.P9
