GUWAHATI, March 17 -- Union home minister Amit Shah said on Sunday there should be no political interference in registering cases related to terrorism, mob lynching, and organised crimes, a PIB release said.

Shah was addressing a meeting held to review the status of implementation of the three new criminal laws in northeastern states. "Shah said that there should be no political interference in registering cases related to terrorism, mob lynching, and organised crime. He said that all North-Eastern states should ensure training of 100% police personnel on the new criminal laws," the release quoted Shah as saying.
