'Charge sheet can lead to cancellation of OCI cards'
India, Aug. 13 -- The Union ministry of home affairs has said that the overseas citizen of India (OCI) card, which allows foreign nationals of Indian origin to avail several benefits, including multiple entry-lifelong visa for visiting India, will be cancelled if such a person is sentenced to prison for a term not less than two years or has been named in a charge sheet in a crime that entails punishment of seven years or more.
