BCCI decided to suspend the league for a week due to security threats posed by a rise in military tension between India and Pakistan that resulted in cross-border conflicts. Fans and stakeholders alike have been left scratching their heads, with no certainty regarding when or where the IPL will be played should it return in 2025.
