'Accommodating dissent': Kerala CM releases Raj Bhavan magazine
Kochi, Sept. 29 -- Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday released the inaugural edition of Rajahams, the quarterly magazine of the state Raj Bhavan, even as he underlined that his Left administration need not share all the views expressed in its contents.
Vijayan visited the Raj Bhavan for the event, along with Governor Rajendra Arlekar and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, amid the standoff with the Governor's office over issues, including the usage of the portrait of Bharat Mata at official events and differences over administration of universities.
In his speech, Vijayan stressed that articles of contrasting opinion and views, that may appear in the quarterly magazine, do not upset the state government.
