India, Jan. 28 -- The tragic plane crash in Baramati that killed Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday has brought spotlight on VSR Aviation, a Delhi-based firm that operated the plane, a Bombardier Learjet 45.

Questions are also being asked about the safety of the plane since this is the second such incident for this jet model in the last three years. Back in September 2023, a plane of the same make, operating a non-scheduled passenger flight from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai with six passengers on board, met with an accident while landing in Mumbai.
