PANJIM, April 20 -- The Old Goa Police on Friday arrested two persons for allegedly attempting to assault and threaten a Chimbel resident. Irfan Baviketti, aged 22 years and Pritam Chodankar, aged 19 years were arrested, taking cognizance of a complaint filed by Maruti Ghadge (35 years) that alleged four accused persons wrongfully restrained him, threatened with dire consequences and attempted to assault him with dangerous weapons.
Two other accused namely Akhil and Polly are at large even as the Old Goa police have launched a manhunt for them.
