BICHOLIM, March 23 -- The agitation of Sesa workers association entered second year on Friday, the mining dependents seem to have softened their stand over upcoming elections with their president keeping the decision on hold.

"We are under the Goa Mining People's Front and all our programmes are organided under their supervision. The decision that we take will be based on what GMPF decides" Sesa Workers Association President, Nilesh Karbotkar said when asked who they would support in the upcoming elections.

Earlier, the workers were openly stating that they would not vote for BJP, but now with Dr Pramod Sawant taking over as the new chief minister, the workers seem to have softened their stand.
