MARGAO, April 24 -- Congress Lok Sabha candidate for South Goa Francisco Sardinha on Tuesday clarified that his remarks were misinterpreted and misrepresented on social media and termed such attempts as "cheap tricks" only to malign his image.
When media persons sought his views on how AAP will fare in the election, he said, "People who are wise will never vote for AAP because AAP is B-team of BJP".
To a question with regards to AAP and its impact, Sardinha said, "Yesterday I met someone, sir he said what you think people are mad. Instead of voting for AAP it is better to vote for BJP, at least the vote will be acknowledged. These people have not even one per cent chance of winning, so why should anybody vote for such party".
