Panjim, June 4 -- Following heavy rush at the Asilo hospital, Mapusa for swab collection, the State Executive Committee (SEC) is contemplating using Pernem College as a throat swab collection centre.
The SEC was informed by the Health Secreatry Nila Mohanan that the Health department plans to use the Pernem College as a throat swab collection centre for the people coming through Patradevi checkpost.
Currently, the travellers coming from the three check posts at Keri, Patradevi and Dodamarg are sent to Asilo for swab collection. Sources said that the collecting of swabs at Pernem College will ease the rush at Asilo.
