PANJIM, June 6 -- The Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Friday filed a complaint before Goa Lokayukta Justice (retired) PK Misra alleging multi-crore "Labour Gate Scam" by the State government, wherein crores of rupees have been disbursed amongst the BJP workers from the financial support earmarked for building and other construction workers to tied over the loss of wages caused due to COVID pandemic.
GFP Vice President Durgadas Kamat in a complaint has charged that an amount of over Rs 13 crore has been disbursed to 15,490 'so called' construction workers and labourers during the pandemic.
