Panjim, Sept. 19 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa Convener Elvis Gomes stepped down from the post stating he would continue to work for the party at the grassroots level in the State.
Gomes announced his resignation from the responsibility at a press conference in the party office on Friday. Senior leader Rahul Mhambrey, who is heading the ongoing campaign of 'Goans Against Corona' has been nominated as the interim convener of the party's state unit till further announcement.
