PANJIM, June 25 -- Congress has alleged that the CM Sawant-led govt is neglecting the education sector in Goa.
GPCC general secretary Amarnath Panjikar raised concerns about how students pursuing professional education within and outside the State are facing problems as the Goa Education Development Corporation (GEDC) has failed to disburse the fees under the interest free loan scheme for the last three semesters.
"All the students who have taken admission into professional colleges and had sought the government's help under the interest free education loan scheme of the government are now facing crisis as the GEDC has not released the fees amount to the educational institutions," he said.
