PANJIM, Nov. 9 -- A Hyundai i10 car caught fire at Farmagudi, on Thursday at 8 pm. The vehicle was totally destroyed in the incident. Fire personnel informed that Narendra Bhat was returning home to Ponda from work at a Kundaim factory and when he reached Farmagudi, he found smoke billowing from the bonnet of his car. He immediately alighted from the vehicle and informed the fire station, whose personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire. However, before the flames were put out, the car was totally damaged. Sources said that Bhat is residing in a rented house at Amrai Colony Ambegal in Ponda and he is originally from Karwar.
