Curchorem, June 4 -- The retaining and boundary wall of the under construction new building of Guardian Angel Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Curchorem collapsed on the nearby house on Tuesday night due to the continuous rainfall.
According to Quepem Mamlatdar Rosario Carvalho, the incident occurred at around 11.30 pm and luckily no casualties were reported but the kitchen of the house was badly damaged causing an estimated loss of around Rs. 50,000. "As per available information that house is belongs to Alcin Fernandes and luckily no one was present in the kitchen at the time of the incident." Informed Carvalho
