PONDA, April 20 -- As the OPA water treatment plant at Curti-Khandepar quenches the thirst of entire Tiswadi and Ponda talukas, the villagers of Bethora, who reside close to plant have been facing acute water shortage this summer.
The women from Bondbaag area are complaining that they are facing water shortage for the last four years due to irregular water supply, low water pressure from small size diameter pipeline and increasing population in Bethora Village Panchayat area.
Sunita Satarkar informed they receive water supply at midnight that too on irregular basis and to collect it they have to spend sleepless nights.
