MARGAO, Dec. 1 -- The Union Minister of State (MoS) for Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Electronics & Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said the Central government will consider finding a solution to the obstacles facing the proposed IIT project at Sanguem.

Responding to queries from reporters, he said if acquiring more land is an issue then the Centre could consider building IIT vertically so that the existing land could suffice.

He however emphasised that IIT is needed in Goa especially when both governments are trying to expand the IT and start-up ecosystem in the State.
